KGMU: MAN RESPONDING TO THERAPY

LUCKNOW:A second dose of plasma was administered on Monday to the 62-yearold coronavirus patient from Orai admitted at the KGMU. He is the first case to be treated with plasma therapy in the state and his condition, doctors said, was improving. “His oxygen dependence has gone down and we are starting to bring the patient out of ventilator support,” said Dr D Himanshu, senior faculty of KGMU who is treating the patient in the isolation ward. He was administered plasma donated by a treated patient, who is the first coronavirus case of Lucknow.
