The survival of five lakh daily wagers of the film and TV industry is at stake due to the lockdown. Actor Varun Dhawan came forward to help them on his birthday. Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) chief advisor Ashoke Pandit thanked him on Twitter. “God bless you Varun for standing by the daily wage workers who form a very important place in our industry,” he wrote.
