FRANCE BANS HCQ AS COVID TREATMENT

PARIS: The French government on Wednesday cancelled a decree allowing hospital doctors to administer hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as a treatment to severely ill Covid-19 patients. The cancellation, which means the drug is now banned for use, was announced in a government bulletin. France had decided in March to allow the use of HCQ. AFP
