MAN HELD FOR INFLAMMATORY POSTS

PRAYAGRAJ: Kareli police arrested a man for posting inflammatory posts on social media site. The man was earlier held for assaulting two vegetable vendors after asking them for their identity proofs. According to reports, an FIR was lodged against Bharat Singh of Naya Purwa locality of Kareli after some other Facebook users made a complaint to senior police officials regarding his social media post containing inflammatory and objectionable contents. SHO of Kareli police station Inspector Anil Kumar Singh said the accused was arrested in a late-night raid.
