A SLICE OF NATURE

Hospital del Mar in Barcelona takes patients recovering from Covid-19 out for some nature therapy. Isidre Correa, who had been admitted in intensive care on April 14, was treated to the refreshing views of the seaside across the street. Nature can have a great soothing and healing effect on one’s senses, aiding recovery.

IT’S A BABY BOY!

And he shall be called Ved, Sumeet Vyas shared the happy news on Instagram. “Mamma and daddy are acting cliché, smothering the child every few min,” wrote the actor. It hasn’t been an easy pregnancy for the couple amid the pandemic. Vyas had earlier shared that with his wife quarantined, they were missing out on the little joys of the phase. We’re glad their bundle of joy arrived hale and hearty.

EVERY DAY SHOULD BE A CATURDAY!

We always sensed that cats are secret geniuses! And now they dress the part, too! Librarian Lisa Shaffer clicks her cats dressed as icons from the world of art, literature and science for her social media followers. Cats are certified stress-busters and these pictures will make you crack a smile even on a dull lockdown day.

A NOBLE DEED

Sevadars from Gurdwara Bangla Sahib organised langar at New Delhi Railway Station. The volunteer served meals to passengers in the train headed from Nanded, Maharashtra to Amritsar, Punjab. The gurdwara has also organised food vans to serve the distressed in the remote areas of Delhi, feeding thousands of people who lost their livelihood during the lockdown. We salute their selfless spirit.
