LU to hold exams in July, dates may change
LUCKNOW : Lucknow University administration has decided to conduct its remaining examinations from July 7. The decision was taken during a meeting held by the examination committee in the presence of vice-chancellor Alok Kumar Rai, on Saturday.
The dates for the examinations can be changed as per the directions issued by the state government in the coming days.

The dates for the examinations can be changed as per the directions issued by the state government in the coming days. “The annual and semester examinations of Lucknow University will be conducted in the months of July and August. The postgraduate examinations (PG) will be held between 25 July to 7 August. The graduate and postgraduate examinations of law will be held between 28 July to 14 August, and 28 July to 11 August, respectively. Graduate-level annual examinations will be held between July 7 and July 25, and all graduate examinations of the semester system will take place from July 23 to August 14,” said Spokesperson of LU Durgesh Srivastav.
“These decisions will be subject to any rule or decision taken by the state government for the prevention of Covid-19 infection i.e. these dates will depend on the decision of the government of Uttar Pradesh taken in July,” he added. The master’s level examinations will be evaluated in the respective departments, while the graduate examinations will be evaluated in the university and in some colleges. This decentralisation is aimed to reduce infection. With this, the examination centres have been directed that they will follow all the guidelines of the state government in the context of Covid-19.
