ANIMAL SCIENTIST APPOINTED GAU SEVA AYOG ADVISOR

LUCKNOW: Chennai-based nationally renowned animal welfare scientist Dr RB Chaudhary has been appointed advisor in UP Gau Seva Ayog. Dr Chaudhary would work to educate, aware, and sensitize the grassroots workers working for the protection of cow and its progeny. Chaudhary is an animal nutritionist and his doctoral work on misuse of oxytocin hormone for enhancing milk production in bovines is known to have played a role in banning misuse of the drug. He had also worked with the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) for over three decades. Though based in Chennai, Chaudhary hails from UP and is an alumnus of Agra University and GB Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pant Nagar, Uttarakhand.
