SUBMIT ROAD MAP FOR START OF DBT: UPERC TO DISCOMS

LUCKNOW: The UP Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC) on Tuesday directed discoms to submit a roadmap for the start of direct benefit transfer (DBT) scheme for power consumers in their next annual revenue requirement (ARR) proposal for the financial year 2020-21. The commission issued this and many other directions in its order which it passed, disposing of the Business Plan Petitions of UP Stateowned Distribution Licensees, namely, DVVNL, MVVNL, PVVNL, PuVVNL and KESCO, for the multiyear tariff (MYT) control period FY 2020-21 to FY 2024-25.
