‘LOAN AMOUNT HELPED BOOST MY BUSINESS’

LUCKNOW : When street vendor Vijay Bahadur of Lucknow told Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he used the loan amount to boost his laiyya chana business the PM encouraged him by saying that he knows ‘people of Lucknow are fond of laiyya chana’. “I sell laiyya chana. Earlier, I used to go to market daily to bring raw materials. But after getting the loan I bring all eatables in a bulk. Now, I go to market only once a week to replenish my stock,” Vijay told the PM.

PM also asked Vijay about his income to which he said that he earns around Rs 200 to Rs 250 a day.
