CONSTITUTE TEAM OF OFFICERS TO CONTAIN COVID, SAYS GOVERNOR
LUCKNOW : Uttar Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel on Monday spoke to district magistrates of Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Meerut and Varanasi to know about treatment being given to patients in their respective districts and the progress of vaccination there.
She said that black marketing of Covid medicines should be checked under any circumstances. All efforts should be made to check black marketing of Remdesivir injection and a team of officers should be constituted to contain Covid-19, Uttar Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel said.
Anandiben Patel said there should be no shortage of oxygen in hospitals and ventilators should be provided to patients immediately, when needed. She said use of masks should be enforced and people should not move out of their houses without a mask.
People should be educated about vaccination to ensure that more people got vaccinated while help should be taken from universities, Uttar Pradesh governor Anandiben Patel added.
