NEW TIMINGS FOR BANKS FROM TOMORROW TILL MAY 15

LUCKNOW : The state level bankers’ committee (SLBC) on Tuesday decided to introduce new public hours from 10am to 2pm in all banks across the state, including private ones, from Thursday in view of the increasing Covid-19 cases.

All banks will close by 4pm and new timings will remain in force till May 15. However, any other decision taken by the district administra­tion will supersede instructio­ns issued by the SLBC in this regard. In addition to this, all banks will work with minimum 50 percent staff strength complying all Covid-19 guidelines of the Centre and the state government.

Brajesh Kumar Singh, general manager, Bank of Baroda, and convenor, SLBC (Uttar Pradesh), issued the instructio­ns regarding new timings for banks.The SLBC has ensured that all alternate delivery channels in banks will remain operative as usual, including currency chests, ATM cash loading vendors, core banking solution projects, offices in data centre and data recovery centres. ATM bank offices, security operation centres for cyber security, service branches, clearing houses, bank treasury offices and forex back offices will remain in operation as per their normal routine.

BoB banking services

LUCKNOW: The banking services at Bank of Baroda will be available for the customers from 10am to 2pm and banks will be closed by 4pm. It has been resolved to provide essential banking services as advised by IBA during the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic last year. The banks will be working with 50% of staff on a rotational basis complying with all Covid-19 guidelines issued by central and state government­s from time to time.
