LU to seek govt nod to promote 1st sem students sans exam

LUCKNOW : Lucknow University administration will seek permission of the state government to promote its first semester students of undergraduate and post graduate courses without examination in view of the surge in Covid-19 cases. The decision was taken by the Lucknow University (LU) vice chancellor (VC) Alok Kumar Rai and dean of all departments on Tuesday. Officials of the LU administration said the exams of 3rd and 5th semester have already been completed and their classes have started too. “The classes of second semester too will begin shortly,” LU officials said.
