HELP UP RESOLVE MED EQUIPMENT CRISIS: MAHANA

LUCKNOW : State industrial developmen­t minister Satish Mahana on Monday sought help from industrial­ists to meet the present crisis related with medical equipment, including regulators of oxygen cylinders.

In a virtual meeting with industrial­ists and members of the Indian Industries Associatio­n (IIA), Mahana urged them to fulfil emergency requiremen­ts related with the pandemic. He especially took up the issue of regulators and masks for oxygen cylinders.

Mahana also urged industrial­ists to help resolve the ongoing oxygen crisis by helping the government in setting up oxygen plants across the state.

Also present at the meeting, Manmohan Agarwal, senior vice president, IIA, assured Mahana to mobilise all resources for to meet out emergency requiremen­ts of the state. Senior officials of the industry were also present in the meeting.
