CITY CARDIOLOGIST SUCCUMBS TO COVID
LUCKNOW : Eminent city cardiologist Fazal Karim lost the battle to Covid-19 and died during treatment at Era’s Medical College on Wednesday.
Karim had tested positive on April 9 and had to be admitted. He was working at Era Medical College since 2015. “A kindhearted person he used to bring food for patients from his home and helped them in treatment too. He did his MBBS from Aligarh and DM Cardiology from Chandigarh,” said the college administration in a press statement. Meesam Ali Khan, deputy VC, Era University, said that the university will provide all help to the family of Karim. “All staff members tried to save his life. But we lost a family member. Dr Karim always believed the university staff as his family members. He was an honest, kind and intelligent human being,” said Khan.
