O2 SUPPLY TO PVT HOSPITALS YET TO GET NORMAL

-

LUCKNOW: The supply of medical oxygen to private hospitals in Lucknow is yet to resume to full capacity, said reports here on Wednesday. Reports said many hospitals are admitting only limited patients keeping in view the stock of oxygen they have.

“We have started operations but keeping in view the stock of oxygen only limited number of cases are being admitted so that those admitted do not face crisis,” said senior administrative officer of a private hospital in Alambagh. “The situation is such that the vehicle that goes to get oxygen in the morning comes back late night and by then stock brought a night before gets consumed. Hence a 12-hour cycle has been made to run 12 Covid beds,” said Dr Raj Mishra, of SIPS hospital that runs a facility of 12 covid beds. Some hospitals have notices put up regarding limited admission though doctors hope the supply shall resume.
