MANY BBAU STAFF TEST +VE; VARSITY SAYS OLD STATS

LUCKNOW : At least 20 professors, 15 non-teaching staff and nine outsourced employees of the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) have tested positive for Covid-19 since the beginning of the month.

University officials say that many of them have recovered while others who tested positive are on the path to recovery. The matter came to light after a long list of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University professors and employees tested positive went viral on social media.

The university administration said it has also names of those who recovered from infection. In view of the pandemic, BBAU has been conducting classes online. Along with this, online study material is also being provided to students, said Rachana Gangwar, PRO, BBAU.
