NO FACE COVER, NO LIQUOR!

LUCKNOW : The Liquor Sellers’ Welfare Association in Uttar Pradesh has decided that liquor won’t be sold to anyone arriving without face cover or don’t follow Covid-appropriate behaviour, the association said on Wednesday.

The association would also get liquor sellers to distribute masks and face covers to all those who aren’t seen wearing them.

“We are going to be strict with all those who want liquor but aren’t wearing masks. Simultaneously, liquor sellers would also be part of a campaign aimed at making people understand the need for following Covid-protocol strictly,” said Kanhaiyalal Maurya, the general secretary of the liquor sellers’ association.

The liquor sellers’ association would also affix stickers and posters carrying messages about the need to follow the Covid protocol, Maurya said.
