Natalie Dormer welcomed a baby girl in January
English actor Natalie Dormer has revealed she became a mother during the lockdown. According to People.com, the 39-year-old actor, known for playing queen Margaery Tyrell in the hit fantasy TV series, and her partner David Oakes welcomed a baby girl in January.
Revealing the news on a podcast, Dormer said, “It’s the perfect thing to do during a pandemic, is get pregnant and have a baby. I feel like I’m probably being a bit of a cliche. She’ll probably be sitting in a bar in 30 years’ time… going, ‘Yeah, I’m a COVID baby!’”
This is the first baby for the couple, who are yet to post pictures on the social media. Dormer is preparing to return to work soon in the near future, hopefully in a theater role that will allow her to stay close to family.
