Ex-PM Manmohan Singh discharged from hospital

Former prime minister Manmohan Singh, who was admitted to Delhi’s All India Institute of Medical Sciences after he tested positive for Covid-19, was discharged from the hospital on Thursday, officials said. People aware of the developments said the senior Congress leader’s condition was stable and he returned home on Thursday afternoon. Singh, 88, was admitted to the AIIMS trauma centre, a dedicated Covid facility, on April 19, after he developed mild fever and tested positive for the viral infection. His immediate family members were not diagnosed with the disease, news agency PTI reported.
