Body of woman found in semi-clad state

PRAYAGRAJ: A scantily clad body of a 35-year-old woman was recovered from her rented house under Naini police station on Thursday. There were no injury marks on the body and the police said an autopsy report was awaited to find the cause of death. The woman, identified as Seema Mishra, resident of Atarsuiya area, was living in a rented room in Sanjay Nagar area of Naini. When she didn’t come out of her room on Wednesday morning, the other tenants in the house informed the landlord Shivendra Singh who contacted the police.

The police entered Seema’s room where they found her lying on the bed with very few clothes on her body. Landlord of the building in which Seema lived as tenant said he didn’t know much about her. He said she had once said that she was locked in a property dispute with her brother. Station house officer (SHO), Naini, Sunil Kumar Bajpai said further investigat­ions were on. He said the investigat­ions will gain pace once autopsy report was known.
