ASHES OF PT RAJAN MISHRA IMMERSED

VARANASI: The ashes of renowned classical singer Padma Bhushan Pandit Rajan Mishra of the famous musical duo Rajan-Sajan were immersed in the Ganga in Varanasi on Friday morning. The seventy-year-old classical singer of the Banaras gharana had died due to Covid-related complications at a Delhi hospital on April 25.

The urn carrying his ashes was brought to Varanasi from Delhi by his younger brother Pandit Sajan Mishra and son Rajneesh Mishra.
