AKTU TO SIGN MOU INVITING NEW IDEAS FOR PROMOTION OF ODOP

LUCKNOW: To improve the one district one product (ODOP) scheme, the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) and the UP Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises (MSME) Department had called for innovative ideas in the field of managerial innovation.

The centre for advanced studies of AKTU is working hard and soon a memorandum of understanding (MoU) will be signed between the university and ODOP Cell, so that students may come forward with new ideas.

For the pilot project a hackathon is going to be organised soon.

In this context, new ideas were invited by the CAS till April 30, 2021 for the hackathon.

Till the last date, as many as 78 students of various affiliated institutes of the university sent new ideas for technical and managerial innovation in ODOP products.

Soon a committee of experts will conduct a preliminary screening of these new ideas and an online presentation will be made.

After this, the process of honouring the selected ideas and developing a prototype will be done, said Ashish Mishra, spokesman, AKTU.
