SCHOOL OWNER IN LUCKNOW OFFERS BUILDING FOR COVID FACILITY

A school management in Lucknow has offered one of its buildings to be turned into a makeshift level-2 and level-3 Covid facility. The management has also suggested that a portion of the same building can be used as Covid vaccinatio­n centre.

Anil Agarwal, managing director, St Joseph Group of Institutio­ns, Lucknow, in a letter to defence minister Rajnath Singh dated April 30, said, “As a small gesture of my support for your untiring effort in providing proper medical facility to the residents of Lucknow in this pandemic, I am offering the school building infrastruc­ture situated at Sector-B, Priyadarsh­ini Yojana, Sitapur Road, Lucknow for being utilised for setting up of L2 L3 Covid hospital of approximat­ely 60 beds.”

“We are ready to provide the building infrastruc­ture ,” Agarwal said in the letter while lauding Singh’s efforts in setting up two makeshift Covid hospitals in Lucknow.
