World’s largest aircraft flies above California desert
Known as ‘Roc’ and built by US-based Stratolaunch, the world’s largest aircraft recently completed a test flight lasting over three hours above the Mojave desert in southern California. The plane, which has a wingspan of 385 feet, flew at 14,000 feet at a top speed of 320kmph. The aircraft flies on six engines and has been built to carry and launch supersonic vehicles high up in the sky.
