BCCI PROTOCOL AFTER A POSITIVE CASE IS DETECTED

• Suspected/positive cases will be immediately isolated from rest of the squad.

• The team doctor will inform BCCI’s Chief Medical Officer immediately. The local health authority will be notified of the positive RT-PCR test

• All those who had been in close contact in the 48 hours prior to when the sample was collected resulting in a positive test will be isolated and tested. All casual contacts will also be isolated and tested immediately.

BCCI KKR's Varun Chakravarthy had visited an Ahmedabad hospital for a scan on his shoulder after their match against DC last Thursday. Chakravarthy has played all the seven matches for KKR.
