BALLIA: YOUTH GROUP STARTS COMMUNITY KITCHEN
LUCKNOW : A community kitchen began operating near Maldepur turn, in Ballia district, to serve people in need. The community kitchen was inaugurated on Tuesday by Rohit Kumar Singh, the convener of Yuva Chetna, by distributing food to people.
Besides food, the youth organisation also distributed masks and sanitisers to people. Singh said that the group also served people during the lockdown last year. “We are standing in the service of the public, and in this crisis all efforts are being made to help people in need,” said Singh. He said that the government was sleeping in such a situation, adding that the state and central governments have failed the people who are dying, there is no one to inquire about them.
