ANOTHER OXYGEN EXPRESS BRINGS IN 79.13 TONS OF O2

LUCKNOW : Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday witnessed the arrival of 11th oxygen express train that brought in around 79.13 ton of oxygen from Tata Nagar here in the state capital.

Railway officials called it a biggest consignmen­t of oxygen to reach UP. Another oxygen express train, bearing the load of 38.54 metric ton oxygen, would reach Lucknow by Tuesday night.

Sanjay Tripathi, divisional railway manager (DRM), the train, bearing 10 tankers of oxygen reached Charbagh Railway station on Tuesday. “It took around 19 hours 46 minutes for the train to reach Lucknow, covering the distance of 975km, bringing in around 79.13 metric ton of oxygen,” said Tripathi.

The DRM said it was perhaps the biggest consignmen­t of oxygen to reach UP successful­ly.

The move is a part of UP government’s ‘Operation Oxygen’ under which it had approached Railways to help them out in bringing in LMO from Jharkhand, Bengal and Odisha,
