Minister meets patients at KGMU

LUCKNOW: “Hello I am Suresh Khanna. Are you getting medicines and other facilities,” said the medical education minister as he met patients admitted to the IDH Covid ward on the King George’s Medical University campus on Wednesday.

“Whatever the issues are tell me. Do not hesitate. We will solve the issues,” said the minister who went inside the ward in PPE kit to take a first-hand knowledge of the facilities being given to the patients.

“Doctors are coming while other staff come to ask about medicines,” replied one of the patients. The minister met several patients and asked them about medication, food, cleanlines­s and behaviour of doctors.

CMS Prof SN Sankhwar informed the minister that number of beds were being increased.
