CM: SET UP DEDICATED HOSPITALS FOR NON-COVID PATIENTS IN EACH DISTRICT
LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday asked senior officials to set up a hospital in each district for non-Covid patients in order to cater to their medical needs.
He also directed the officials to enforce the partial corona curfew strictly till Monday morning and install CCTV (closed circuit television) cameras in all Covid hospitals across the state.
He issued the directive about the CCTV cameras after stating that there were reports from some districts about hospitals refusing to admit Covid patients despite having vacancy of beds, adding that such an attitude was deplorable, and action should be taken in such cases.
The instructions were issued during a video conference that the chief minister held with divisional commissioners, several additional directors general of police, district magistrates, district police chiefs and some other officers of districts.
Adityanath also said a panel of doctors should be formed for tele-consultation with non-Covid patients and the responsibility for its smooth operation be fixed on the chief medical superintendent.
