WHAT WORKED FOR IT

-

SP spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary said: “SP president Akhilesh Yadav’s vision, miserable failure of BJP on all fronts, anti-farmers, antiyouth, crime against women, law and order, price rise including those of petrol and diesel that affect villagers immensely, helped the party win.

SP MLC Sunil Singh Yadav said: “Panchayat polls are the start of the change. The training camps that the party president Akhilesh Yadav ran across the state and himself attended them, foot marches, and events like Kisaan Ghera in villages connected people with his vision.”

Samajwadi Party had run various public connect events against the government such as Kisan Ghera (informal sitting meetings) with farmers over farm issues and new three controversial farm laws enacted by the union government, Yuva Ghera in which the party cadres from village to education institutions engaged students in discussions, or Mahila Ghera on International women’s day in which the party’s cadres engaged women in villages and cities in discussions in issues related to them. Apart from this, Akhilesh had travelled 40 districts holding meetings, addressing the public and doing special cadre training camps.
