WOMAN POSES AS LATE HC OFFICIAL’S WIFE, ARRESTED

: Dhumanganj police arrested a woman identified as Ramshila, in her 40s, for allegedly trying to grab the house of late high court joint registrar Hem Singh, 50, in Pritamnagar locality. Singh died of Covid a few days back. As per his servant Sandeep Yadav, he lived alone as his wife had left him after their daughter’s death many years ago. He informed police when Ramshila reached Singh’s house with two girls on May 1 and demanded the keys of the house and Singh’s vehicle from him.

The police arrested her after she failed to produce any documents proving that she had any legal claim to Singh’s property. SHO, Dhumanganj, Anupam Sharma said on complaint of Sandeep Yadav, an FIR was lodged against the woman following which she was arrested.
