Case against man, parents for triple talaq

A father of five children gave triple talaq to his wife in Prayagraj. On the complaint of the woman, police have lodged an FIR against the man and are further probing the matter. Reports said the woman was married to a man of Akbarpur area. The couple have five children. In her complaint, the woman has alleged that her husband and in-laws were planning her husband’s second marriage.

As per her, they often harassed her on trivial issues. Some days back, her husband had a quarrel with her when she asked money for buying ration. The man gave triple talaq to the woman and left home.

The woman also made a complaint to the women’s commission.
