‘Such sweet gesturesgive us the spirit’

Dr Sandhya Bansal, a gynaecologist, said, “When I am at the hospital for OPD or delivery, you never know when a patient turns out to be Covid19 positive. It often happens that we get to know the situation after some time but such is the scenario. With two kids Anvi (13) and Raghav (5) at home and husband who is also a doctor the risk is always hovering over us.”

Last year they all contracted the virus therefore, now they are more cautious.

“Kids now want to surprise us on such special days. Such sweet gestures give us the spirit to work in these tough times. As for doctors, there is no fixed work time and with so much risk involved we have to balance with lot of caution,” she adds.
