: Treated patients facing post-Covid health issues can visit district hospitals in their respective cities to meet doctors.

“There will be a designated post-Covid care centre (PCCC) at each district hospital to solve health issues of treated Covid patients,” said additional chief secretary, medical health, Amit Mohan Prasad in a press conference on Sunday.

Doctors said such a centre/ clinic was needed as many patients had different health issues troubling them once they tested negative.

“From breathing problem to depression and even joint pain, different health problems trouble recovered Covid patients but with limited access to health network they have to suffer. Opening of such centres will get them speedy consultancy and medication to recover from post Covid trouble also,” said Dr Sandip Kapoor, director, Healthcity hospital.

These PCCCs to be started in all 75 districts will be separate from the fever clinics and will facilitate consultancy and treatment as per the requirement.
