1.5 LAKH COVAXIN DOSES REACH LKO

LUCKNOW : The state government on Sunday received 1.50 lakh doses of Covaxin manufactured by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech.

The consignment arrived at the Chaudhary Charan Singh airport here by an Indigo flight at 3.30pm. The vaccine doses were sent to the cold chain at the state vaccine store in Jubilee hospital on Jagat Narain Road here.

The doses will be used in the vaccination drive for people between 18 and 44 years to be launched in 11 more districts on Monday, in addition to the seven districts where it is going on for this age group.
