After receiving information about it, sub divisional magistrate, Sevrai area of Ghazipur district, Ramesh Kumar Maurya reached the spot and got the funeral of the bodies done.

Maurya said, “I received information that two bodies were floating in the river Ganga in Bara area of Ghazipur. I along with my team reached the spot and found only two bodies floating in the river Ganga.”

Mauray said he had no idea from where the two bodies had come. He said that the bodies appeared to be a fortnight old.
