LU ALUMNI STEP TO HELP COVID PATIENTS

LUCKNOW: The Lucknow University Alumni Foundation have launched an effort to connect willing plasma/blood donors to potential recipients across the country by creating an organised common database of Lucknow University Alumni.

Vice-chancellor prof Alok Kumar Rai launched the drive by releasing the posters and registrati­on form link, seeking plasma/blood donations on the University’s social media platforms. The link for registrati­on is https://forms.gle/rmiopADXfd­KVd9AQ8.

The alumni foundation is sharing the appeal through various social media platforms and through its members to spread the word for getting maximum enrolments for the donation from across the country.

The VC appreciate­d the efforts and appealed to alumni and present students, faculty members and staff to actively participat­e and contribute towards this humanitari­an work. The effort is being coordinate­d by prof Nishi Pandey and facilitate­d by Sharaf Abbas both are office bearers of the foundation. Prof Nishi Pandey, coordinato­r of the Lucknow University Alumni Foundation appealed to all to circulate the news and help to widely disseminat­e this informatio­n for larger participat­ion.
