LU ALUMNI STEP TO HELP COVID PATIENTS

LUCKNOW: The Lucknow University Alumni Foundation have launched an effort to connect willing plasma/blood donors to potential recipients across the country by creating an organised common database of Lucknow University Alumni.

Vice-chancellor prof Alok Kumar Rai launched the drive by releasing the posters and registration form link, seeking plasma/blood donations on the University’s social media platforms. The link for registration is https://forms.gle/rmiopADXfdKVd9AQ8.

The alumni foundation is sharing the appeal through various social media platforms and through its members to spread the word for getting maximum enrolments for the donation from across the country.

The VC appreciated the efforts and appealed to alumni and present students, faculty members and staff to actively participate and contribute towards this humanitarian work. The effort is being coordinated by prof Nishi Pandey and facilitated by Sharaf Abbas both are office bearers of the foundation. Prof Nishi Pandey, coordinator of the Lucknow University Alumni Foundation appealed to all to circulate the news and help to widely disseminate this information for larger participation.
