KGMU ALUMNI COVID SUPPORT GROUP
LUCKNOW: The alumni of KGMU have united to extend support to the institution on Covid-19 management. KGMU runs the city’s biggest Covid-19 facility with over 800 beds.
The patron of the group is Lt Gen Bipin Puri, vice-chancellor, KGMU and its founder/president is Dhavendra Kumar from William Harvey Research Institute, Bart’s and The London School of Medicine, Queen Mary University
of London, UK. The Covid-19 support group is an emergency measure in the current crisis across India. The group includes experts in different aspects of acute and preventive medicine relevant to multi-system manifestations and complications associated with Covid-19. The group will advise and assist on an individual case basis, said Dr Sudhir Singh, spokesperson, KGMU.
