DON’T HIDE ILLNESS, GO FOR TEST, SAYS CM
AGRA: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday urged people not to hide illness but have their samples tested if they had symptoms of Covid-19.
He was in the Braj region of western Uttar Pradesh on Thursday and visited Agra, Aligarh and Mathura to review the arrangements for fighting Covid-19 in the area.
He also visited the district Covid command centres, took stock of facilities at hospitals and gave directions for effective action.
He said the number of active cases was falling in the state and the measures taken to meet the increased demand of oxygen were showing results.
“Even World Health Organisation (WHO) has applauded the Uttar Pradesh’s initiative on the policy of trace, test and treat, especially in 97,000 villages where door to door screening has been undertaken,” the chief minister said.
He went to Patholi village of Agra and met a family under quarantine.
Earlier, the chief minister flew to Aligarh and then to Mathura before returning to Agra on Thursday afternoon.
