- HTC

District administration has deployed Chetak RRTs (Rapid Response Teams) in rural pockets for Covid-19 patients. These teams will be visiting symptomatic patients in rural areas and teach them how to use pulse oxymetre and provide medical kits to the needy patients, said officials.

Each community health centre in the district will now have two ‘Chetak RRT’ and they will be deployed till May 20 to make sure all Covid patients above the age of 12 years get medical kit, they said. The RRT will also teach people about how to use mask, home isolation, and personal care, besides how to contact Covid command centre or CHC in case of need, they added. The teams have been provided bikes to move around with a list of patients and information from health workers in the field.
