DIC HELPING PVT CITY HOSPITALS SET UP O2 PLANTS

: The District Industries Centre (DIC) – the Zila Udyog Kendra – is assisting private hospitals in the state capital set up oxygen plants or to augment the existing capacity of their plants.

In a tweet on Saturday, the DIC informed that out of 60 private hospitals in the state capital, it is assisting 20 of them either to set up oxygen plants or to increase the capacity of their existing plants.

The DIC also informed that 10 hospitals in the state capital will soon finalise their order to set up oxygen plants at their medical facilities.

In addition, the MSME department of the state government was assisting the district administration of Lucknow in purchasing oxygen flow regulators for oxygen cylinders and other medical equipment to help fight the pandemic.
