BODY OF WOMAN KILLED IN ISRAEL BROUGHT BACK

KOCHI: The mortal remains of Soumya Santhosh, who was killed in a Hamas rocket attack in Israel on May 11, were brought to Kerala on Saturday.

Her relatives and political leaders of various parties received the body which was brought by an Air India flight from New Delhi.

“With a heavy heart, received the mortal remains of Ms Soumya Santhosh in Delhi and paid my last respects.CDA of Israel Embassy @RonyYedidia also joined. I empathise with the pain and sufferings of the family of Ms. Soumya.More strength to them,” Union minister V Muraleedharan said in a tweet.

The 30-year-old was killed on Tuesday amid escalating tension between Israel and Palestine.
