Yogi briefs PM about Covid situation, jabs in UP
LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday morning briefed Prime Minister Narendra Modi about the Covid-19 and vaccination situation in the state when PM him called up.
He told PM that the Covid positivity rate was falling and the recovery rate rising in the state. The chief minister also informed the prime minister that vaccines were being administered to people in the 18+ age group in 18 districts of the state. The drive would begin in five more districts on Monday, he added.
He told PM about oxygen supply and how the state was conducting oxygen audit.

The chief minister also informed the prime minister that vaccines were being administered to people in the 18+ age group in 18 districts of the state. The drive would begin in five more districts on Monday, he added.

The chief minister’s office later tweeted about his interaction with PM. In tweets in Hindi, Yogi said that the prime minister discussed the Covid situation, management and vaccination in Uttar Pradesh. Covid management was progressing well in UP under the guidance of the prime minister, one of the tweets said.
“Got guidance from PM on availability of beds, oxygen supply, free vaccination and treatment for needy. PM also gave guidance on prevention of vaccine wastage,” a tweet said.
