LALLU TOO ATTACKS GOVT

LUCKNOW: : UP Congress president Ajay Kumar Lallu has attacked the BJP government in the state over Covid over its pandemic management and said that the BJP government was lying to cover up its failure by making tall claims that “positivity rate is continuously falling in the state”.

“The BJP government has reduced testing to show that covid positivity rate was falling and the government had no real plan for testing in villages and small towns. If one wants to see the Covid havoc then one has to head to villages. Dead bodies are floating in all rivers--Ganga, Yamuna, Ken, Betwa, Ghaghra, Sharda. Dogs, crows, eagles, are scavenging on those bodies. And this is waht is diametrically oppositive to what the government claims,” he said.

Lallu also attacked the “double engine government” (the combination of same party governments at the centre and the state) and said: “After launching vaccination festival, the government has betrayed the people by sending vaccines to other countries.”
