Kin of deceased ambulance staff given financial assistance

LUCKNOW: Officials of the GVK EMRI that runs 108, 102 and Covid-19 ambulance services in the state handed over financial assistance worth Rs 25 lakh to family members of different staff members who lost their lives while doing their duty during the pandemic, on Monday. “The cheques of Rs 5 lakh each were handed over by TVS Reddy, vice-president of GVK EMRI, to family members of the five staff members who died while performing their duty,” said Lingraj Das, head HR of GVK EMRI.
