RSS LEADER VISITS AYODHYA, PERFORMS PUJA
LUCKNOW: Senior Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) leader Bhaiyyaji Joshi visited Ayodhya on Monday, paid obeisance to Ram Lalla and performed puja. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerath Kshetra Trust general secretary Champat Rai and Trust members Dr Anil Mishra and Mahant Dhinendra Das were also present. During the visit, Joshi discussed the ongoing construction work for Ram temple and enquired about the other development projects of Ayodhya.
BRICKS PLACED BELOW SANCTUM
Nine shilas (bricks) were laid 14 metres below the surface at the sanctum sanctorum of the under-construction Ram temple in Ayodhya on Monday.
Apart from this, several silver bricks and a kalash (pitcher) that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had brought for the bhoomi pujan on August 5 last year, were also laid below the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.
