Indian cricketers to get 2nd Covishield dose in UK

Indian cricketers, who have received the first dose of the Covishield vaccine, can get their second doses in the UK, officials said Tuesday. The cricketers are scheduled to leave for the UK on June 2 where the men’s team will begin their tour with the World Test Championship final in Southampton from June 18. The women’s team will begin with a Test on June 16, followed by six limited-overs matches. “The UK health department will be providing them with the second jab based on the protocols laid down,” a BCCI official said.
