Ghaziabad admin’s ‘Always with you’ service to help people

LUCKNOW : Ghaziabad district magistrate Ajay Shankar Pandey has launched an ‘Always with you’ help service for such people who have lost heads of their families to Covid.

“The aim is to help them put their lives back on track by sorting out their financial and occupation related issues,” said the Ghaziabad district administration in a press statement.

“It is noticed that often due to such sudden and unforeseen demise of a head of a family leads to a kind of vacuum related to the occupation that the deceased had and complications related to insurance, pension, inheritance, bank accounts or transfer of the occupation (business etc) to the family,” said the statement The Ghaziabad district administration has issued an email dedicated for the purpose (lwayswithyoudmghaziabad@gmail.com) on which any person seeking help should write their request along with their address and phone number.

On receiving the request, the district magistrate will assign a ‘prashasan mitra’ to the family who will help the family in settling issues such as insurance claim, bank account settlement, relaunching of the occupation by coordinating with various associated government departments or organisations. The officer will help the family with all necessary paperwork related to the activating the occupation that the deceased held or operated.
