Tauktae effect: Rainy day across northern states
Light to moderate rainfall was recorded in several northern states as an after-effect of Cyclone Tauktae, which barrelled past India’s west coast over the last few days and made landfall in Gujarat on Monday night. Incessant rain and thunderstorms in some regions on Wednesday also brought down the mercury across several cities.
