Yogi, Shahi hail hike in fertilizer subsidy

LUCKNOW: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath and agricultur­e minister Surya Pratap Shahi have welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to increase fertilizer subsidy by 140%. In a tweet on Wednesday, Adityanath said the welfare of farmers was the PM’s priority and the hike in fertilizer subsidy was just one more proof of it.
